At Oak Tree Primary School, we believe that learning goes beyond the classroom. Our Forest School program provides children with a unique opportunity to explore nature, develop essential life skills, and build a Forest School at Oak Tree Primary School.
At Oak Tree Primary School, our Forest School programme is rooted in a developmental ethos, providing children with regular opportunities to grow, learn, and thrive in a natural environment. Through hands-on experiences in our onsite natural area, children build confidence, resilience, and self-esteem while engaging in stimulating and challenging activities.
Forest School supplements our commitment to continuous provision in Key Stage 1, offering outdoor experiences that nurture essential skills such as teamwork, independence, risk management, and self-motivation through child initiated play.
